In this presentation deck I cover the basics of user experience testing from square one; paying particularly close attention to the thought processes behind designing and deploying tests. UX testing can be very simple and fulfilling when executed properly, but unfortunately many people get deep into the trenches of the technical nuances and end up designing tests and tactical test plans that are unrealistic and add little to no value.
In this presentation I focus on keeping the tests simple and provide actionable steps on what you should be testing for and how to design your first round of tests.
