Jon Cooper’s Link Building Course is a comprehensive approach to explaining how to build links in plain language.

He put several months of research, interviews, and tests into practice to write one of the most definitive guides I have read on how to approach link building.

He steps through specific strategies, research tactics, and even gives you an up to date list of places to acquire authoritative links.

Stay tuned for free preview on Jon’s course at the end of this post.

A Quick Introduction

In case you are unfamiliar, let me give you a little background:

The course gives you a lifetime membership to it’s content, which Jon updates regularly to maintain algorithm standards and best practices.

The very first sentence under ‘The Beauty of This Course’ is

It is, and always will be, a work in progress.

This means for about what most people spend on coffee in a month you have lifetime access to an evergreen content library on how to identify, develop, and manage your link building efforts.

Jon provides his contact information and invites anyone to email him with any questions, to which you can expect a speedy reply.

He also has a 60 day money-back guarantee, no questions.

Other Reviews of The Link Building Course

My Personal Review

I got to take a sneak peek at this course while it was in progress.

It took me a while just to make it through the first couple of chapters because it provides a lot of information, in detail.

Each section is laid out with step by step instructions on the logic behind the strategy, the changes to your website to need to implement it, and the types of results you can expect..

As part of the course materials Jon provides an excel sheet and documentation on some exact sources for link opportunities, with detailed layouts and diagrams on how to identify and build the most effective links, and an engine for generating ideas.

If you are still not ready to buy the course, download the free preview below.

I just read through the “teaser” PDF… great stuff. How recently was this written? One thing I noticed in the section about anchor text was the suggestion to essentially have sites link to you using keyword-rich anchors. This is obviously important, but on a limited basis and the variety must be VERY diverse since Penguin was unleashed.

I wouldn’t want to see newbies creating link profiles with unnaturally high keyword stuffed anchors. We all know what happens now ;)

Hey Bill – The first chapter was initially written in June 2012 of this year.

You are spot on Bill, and Jon actually takes a lot of time in the later chapters to explain the implications of the updates and how to adjust your link building strategies accordingly. This preview really only scratches the surface of the overall course – it’s seriously pretty huge.

Yes! Good link building may help to increase site rank on search engines. Good link building strategy may also help in avoiding the spam.

Hey Nick

Thanks for your review. I read and studying a lot of Link Build Courses and most are either out of date (not relevant anymore) or just flat out don’t work.

I visit Point Blank SEO often because Jon does provide a ton of info and value. Can I ask is the course still relevant now if I were to purchase it.

Thanks Nick

Danny

Hey Danny,

My pleasure. Yes! Jon’s course is still my go to recommendation for anyone really looking to get started, get some ideas on where and how to build high authority links, and a lot of usable examples that you can put into practice the very same day.

Let me know if I can answer any other questions. Thanks again!
